Hi! I'm too lazy to get off my butt and come down to your store. Please stop what you're doing, ignore all the customers who actually took the time to come down the store in person, and describe in excruciating detail every item you currently have in stock. Thanks!

But it sooo much more time efficient to make a phone call than it is to travel from store to store when you are looking for a certain special item.
A specific item, sure. If they say, "Do you have such-and-such?" I can say yes or no. Easy!
But when they say, "Please go through every item you have the whatever section and describe it and tell me how much it costs and ..." Aarggh!!
